Lois Poe Rust

Director of Fine Arts for LS/ES/MS

 

Lois has taught drama at Cincinnati Country Day School since 1982. She received an undergraduate degree in theater and a Master's in Broadcasting at the College Conservatory of Music/University of Cincinnati. Before entering the teaching profession she was a television producer for an ABC affiliate for a number of years. Lois is also a published playwright of a number of plays written for children. She is the mother of three sons who have attended Cincinnati Country Day School.

Being the Director of Fine Arts is a wonderful position and watching the school and students grow in the visual and performing arts is extremely rewarding. CCDS is very fortunate to have the John Whitman Keeler Theater and the Blake B. Lindner Fine Arts Center. BRAVO to the fantastic, creative and hardworking Fine Arts Team!
