A caricature is an exaggerated drawing showing hobbies and interests--it is

supposed to be funny!

 This 6th grade is using his paint mixing skills to make all kinds of greens with green, white, grey and black.  His painting will have a mono-cromatic color sceme.

Georgia  O'Keeffe always wanted to be a painter.  She thought it was important to please herself with her art work.  No one painted flowers so large and close-up...but she thought that was the best way for her to paint about them.  She painted bones, too.  We are learning about mixing paint and how other artists mixed paint in 6th grade.
