First Quarter

Welcome to Humanities! Get ready for a plunge into some of the richest history, literature, and art that this world has to offer. We begin our studies with ancient India--a country whose economic rise suggests a future significant spot on the world stage. Use this site as a guide to the adventure.

  • Looking to spice up dinner conversation with some course content? I thought so. Check out the family resources for links and ideas to keep your student making connections and reinforcing what we've learned in class outside of school.
  • Keep current with this week: the guide to your child's immediate Humanities future. From the weekly schedule to review games, online discussions to grading rubrics and even the course handouts, this is the organizing spot for your student's work. Also posted on this page are the upcoming e-office hours, time when your student can email or IM me for help preparing for papers or major tests.
  • Don't forget to check out the student work to see what the class has been creating.
